Guidelines for Participation
To ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment, please follow these guidelines when joining our hikes.
Registration & Payments
Complete membership form and ensure monthly payment of GH₵100.
Physical Preparedness
Choose an activity that is appropriate for your level of expertise. If you have questions about the degree of difficulty, please call the activity leader.
What to bring
Bring water, appropriate footwear, long sleeve top and bottoms.
Hike Essentials
Regular hikes start from Obosomase on Saturdays. Arrive at the basecamp by 6:00am unless otherwise stated.
Group Cooperation
During the hike, stay with the group(s). Don't stop, lag behind, or go ahead without the leader's knowledge.
Snack and Hydration
Bring preferred snack for hike eg. nuts.
Environmental Respect
Leave the area as you find it: pack out all trash.
Trip Registration & Preparation
For special trip/excursions, reservations are required. Call leader by date stated and pay required deposit.
Activity Safety Rules
The activity leader reserves the right to terminate the activity if he/she believes the group or an individual's health or safety is in jeopardy.
Know Your Limits
Each hiker understands that they are responsible for their own health, and will assess each hike in accordance with their physical capacity and any health conditions.
